1. About Zeventive

Zeventive is an online event marketplace platform based in India that connects event service vendors (decorators, caterers, photographers, performers, audio-visual teams, and other service professionals) with users who wish to plan and book services for their events — including corporate events, weddings, social gatherings, and entertainment productions.

Zeventive operates as an intermediary marketplace. We provide the technology platform, discovery tools, and dispute mediation services. We do not ourselves provide event services, and we are not a party to any service agreement entered into directly between a Vendor and a User.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By registering on, accessing, or using the Zeventive Platform in any capacity — whether as a Vendor or a User — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies published on the Platform.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. Continued use after any update to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised version.

You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are registering on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

General

4. Platform Role & Disclaimer

Zeventive is a technology marketplace, not an event management company or service provider. We facilitate connections between Vendors and Users but do not:

  • Employ, supervise, or control Vendors or their staff.
  • Guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or fitness of any Vendor's services.
  • Act as an agent or representative of any Vendor.
  • Participate in or guarantee any financial transaction between a Vendor and a User.
Important: Any contract for event services is entered into directly between the User and the Vendor. Zeventive is not a party to that contract and assumes no liability for its performance or breach.

Zeventive may, at its discretion, verify Vendor credentials and display verification badges. Such verification is not an endorsement or guarantee of service quality.

Vendors

5. Vendor Enrollment

Any individual professional or business entity wishing to list their event services on Zeventive must complete the Vendor enrollment process, which includes:

  1. Submitting a completed Vendor registration form with accurate business and contact details.
  2. Providing valid identity proof, business registration documents (GST registration where applicable), and any relevant licences or certifications.
  3. Agreeing to these Terms and the separate Vendor Agreement.
  4. Paying the applicable Subscription fee or agreeing to the Commission model.
  5. Receiving written approval from Zeventive confirming activation of the Vendor account.
Zeventive reserves the right to approve, decline, suspend, or permanently remove any Vendor account at its sole discretion, without being required to provide reasons.

Vendors are responsible for ensuring all information in their profile and Listings is accurate, current, and not misleading. Misrepresentation of services, pricing, or credentials may result in immediate account termination.

Vendors

6. Subscription & Commission Model

Vendors on Zeventive operate under a paid model comprising one or both of the following:

Subscription Fee

  • Recurring monthly or annual fee
  • Unlocks active Listing on the Platform
  • Tier-based visibility options available
  • Non-refundable once the billing period has started
  • Auto-renews unless cancelled 7 days in advance

Commission

  • Percentage of each confirmed Booking value
  • Rate specified in Vendor Agreement
  • Applicable even if User pays Vendor directly
  • Invoiced by Zeventive on a monthly basis
  • Subject to revision with 30-day notice

All fees are exclusive of applicable GST. Zeventive will issue a GST-compliant invoice for all charges. Non-payment of subscription or commission dues may result in suspension of the Vendor's Listing and legal recovery action.

Anti-Circumvention: Vendors must not attempt to redirect Users to transact outside the Platform to avoid commission. Any such attempt constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in permanent account removal and recovery of dues.
Vendors

7. Vendor Obligations

By enrolling on Zeventive, Vendors agree to:

  • Deliver services as described in their Listing and as agreed with the User at the time of Booking.
  • Maintain all necessary licences, permits, and insurances required to legally provide their services.
  • Respond to User enquiries within a reasonable time (recommended: within 24 hours on business days).
  • Keep their Listing information — including pricing, availability, and service scope — up to date at all times.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, including the Consumer Protection Act 2019, and not engage in unfair trade practices.
  • Treat all Users with professionalism and respect.
  • Honour confirmed Bookings. Cancellation of a confirmed Booking by a Vendor without adequate cause may attract penalties as outlined in the Vendor Agreement.
Vendors

8. Prohibited Vendor Conduct

Vendors must not:

  • Post false, misleading, or exaggerated information in their Listings or reviews.
  • Solicit or manipulate User reviews in any way.
  • Engage in price gouging, hidden charges, or bait-and-switch pricing.
  • Share User personal data with third parties without explicit consent.
  • Use the Platform to promote services not listed on their approved Zeventive profile.
  • Engage in any form of harassment, discrimination, or misconduct towards Users.

Zeventive may immediately suspend or terminate a Vendor account upon receiving credible reports of such conduct, and may cooperate with law enforcement if required.

Users

9. User Registration

To book event services through Zeventive, Users must create a free account by providing their name, email address, mobile number, and any other information requested during registration. Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful registration information.
  • Keep their account credentials confidential and not share them with others.
  • Notify Zeventive immediately of any unauthorised use of their account.
  • Use the Platform solely for lawful purposes and genuine event bookings.

Zeventive reserves the right to suspend or delete User accounts that are inactive, involved in fraudulent activity, or in violation of these Terms.

Users

10. Event Booking Process

Users can browse Vendor Listings, view service details, compare options, and send booking enquiries through the Platform. The booking process works as follows:

  1. User sends a booking enquiry or request to a Vendor via the Platform.
  2. Vendor reviews and accepts or declines the enquiry.
  3. Upon acceptance, both parties finalise event details (date, scope, price) — either on-platform or directly.
  4. A Booking is confirmed once the User makes the agreed advance payment directly to the Vendor.
  5. Zeventive sends a Booking confirmation notification to both parties.
Zeventive's role:We facilitate the connection and confirmation notification. The actual service contract is between you (the User) and the Vendor. Always read the Vendor's own terms before confirming a Booking.

Users are advised to verify Vendor credentials, check reviews, and confirm all event details in writing before making any payment.

Users

11. Payments to Vendors

All payments for event services are made directly by the User to the Vendor. Zeventive does not process, hold, or facilitate financial transactions between Users and Vendors.

  • Payment terms, modes, and schedules are agreed directly between the User and the Vendor.
  • Zeventive is not responsible for payment disputes, failed transactions, or refund processing between Users and Vendors.
  • Users should retain all payment receipts and written confirmations from Vendors.
  • Zeventive strongly recommends making payments via traceable methods (bank transfer, UPI, etc.) and avoiding cash payments.
Caution:Never make payments to personal accounts outside the agreed Booking flow. Zeventive will not be liable for any loss arising from payments made outside the Platform's Booking confirmation process.
Users

12. Cancellations & Refunds

Since payments are made directly to Vendors, cancellation and refund terms are primarily governed by the Vendor's own cancellation policy, which must be disclosed in their Listing before a Booking is confirmed.

Users should:

  • Review the Vendor's cancellation policy before making any payment.
  • Communicate any cancellation in writing (via the Platform's messaging system where possible).
  • Raise a Dispute on the Platform if a Vendor refuses a refund they are contractually obligated to provide.

Zeventive may, through its dispute mediation process, recommend a resolution but cannot enforce refund payments from Vendors on behalf of Users. Persistent non-compliance by a Vendor may result in their removal from the Platform.

Both Parties

13. Dispute Resolution & Mediation

Zeventive provides a dispute mediation service to help resolve disagreements between Users and Vendors arising from Bookings made through the Platform. This is a goodwill mediation service and does not constitute legal arbitration.

How to raise a Dispute:

  1. Submit a Dispute through the Platform's Dispute Centre within 14 days of the event date or the triggering issue.
  2. Provide all relevant evidence — booking confirmation, payment receipts, communication records, photos.
  3. Zeventive will notify the other party and allow them 5 business days to respond.
  4. Zeventive's mediation team will review submissions and issue a non-binding recommendation within 10 business days.
  5. Both parties are encouraged (but not legally compelled) to follow the recommendation.
Note:Zeventive's mediation recommendation is advisory only. If a party does not accept the recommendation, they retain the right to pursue legal remedies under Indian law. Zeventive will share relevant records with legal authorities or consumer forums if lawfully required.

A Vendor found to have repeatedly failed Users following mediation may be suspended or permanently removed from the Platform.

General

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Zeventive's total liability to any party — whether Vendor or User — shall not exceed INR 10,000 or the Platform fees paid by the claimant to Zeventive in the 3 months preceding the claim, whichever is lower.

Zeventive shall not be liable for:

  • Any failure by a Vendor to deliver services as promised.
  • Any financial loss arising from direct payments between Users and Vendors.
  • Loss of event deposits or advance payments made to Vendors.
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses of any kind.
  • Platform downtime, technical errors, or data loss caused by events beyond our control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

General

15. Intellectual Property

All content on the Zeventive Platform — including the brand name, logo, UI design, software, and editorial content — is the exclusive intellectual property of Zeventive and is protected under Indian copyright and trademark law.

Vendors grant Zeventive a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display their Listing content, photos, and brand materials on the Platform for the purpose of marketing their services. This licence ends upon termination of the Vendor's account.

Users and Vendors must not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Zeventive Platform content without prior written permission.

General

16. Privacy & Data Protection

Zeventive collects, stores, and processes personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Platform, you consent to this processing.

  • We do not sell personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
  • You have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data.

  • Pending Bookings must be cancelled per Vendor policy
  • No fee charged for account closure
  • Data retained as required by Indian law
  • Account deactivated within 7 working days

Zeventive may immediately suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or causes harm to other users of the Platform.

General

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India, including but not limited to the Indian Contract Act 1872, the Information Technology Act 2000, and the Consumer Protection Act 2019.

Any disputes arising from these Terms that cannot be resolved through Zeventive's mediation process shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. The parties agree to first attempt good-faith resolution before initiating legal proceedings.

19. Amendments
